Lunar Phases

This is the completed moon series that I have been working on! The painting in the center is all acrylic paint, including some metallics. The paintings on either side are black acrylic paint on top of newspaper. I had a lot of fun with this. I think I might stray away from using newspaper, or mixed media in general, for awhile. I need to change things up. I am planning on starting up some oil pieces soon/revisiting some partially completed ones.
